OASNP ANNUAL SPECIAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE 2024

  • The theme for this year is “Working in an Inclusive World”.
  • We will be back to our popular format, including legal and legislative updates and a featured session supporting students and OEA members involved in Special Education, including ESPs.
  • The content of the conference will appeal to Special Education staff, including ESPs, in Pre-K-12 Districts and County Boards of DD. Conference is open to all OEA Members.
  • Our Friday evening Networking Happy Hour is an excellent chance to meet other special educators.
  • The conference will include the OASNP Annual Meeting and the election of four Officers and six At-Large Representatives.
  • Certificates of attendance will be issued at the conclusion of the conference.

  • Each spring, the OASNP Special Education Conference is put on by OASNP with additional support from OEA.

REGISTRATION

Registration is limited – register early!  Registration cost will be $35.00 for OASNP members and $45.00 for other OEA Members, which will also cover the first year of OASNP membership.  Admission to all sessions, meals, snacks, and two complimentary beverages from the lounge are included with registration.  Guests are welcome for $70 to cover the cost of meals.

Register ONLINE by April 15th and pay your conference registration fee using a credit card on PayPal.  You may also fill out and send in the fill-able Conference Registration form.  Conference cancellations will be accepted until April 22nd.  Anyone who does not cancel by then and does not attend will be billed the cost of the meals.  Room reservations must be made separately.*

*LODGING

Each participant must reserve their own lodging.  The OASNP group rate is $138.50, taxes included, single or double room.  If you need an ADA room or one close to the activities, indicate that to the reservation specialist when booking.  Contact Salt Fork Resort to make room reservations at 1-800-AT A PARK.  Mention you want rooms in the OASNP room block.  The room block will be available until March 15th, but the cost of the rooms should remain the same after that date.
